Eating well is basic common sense…right? Not necessarily. I do believe that awareness toward better health has become more prevalent in the US than ever before. Just watch the Today show or other news media programs and they’re choc full of great information about how to lead a healthy lifestyle. Yet regardless how many times or ways the right information is presented to us, statistics still reveal that more than 50% of the American population are overweight. Did you know that 1 in 3 adults are insulin resistant, and according to the American Heart Association, heart disease is still our number one killer? Eating healthy isn’t about jumping on a diet for a week, then gorging on a pint of ice cream on Sunday night with the mindset that you’ll start again on Monday. Or going out with friends on a Friday night and drinking too much. That kind of inconsistency won't help you reach your health goals…not even close.

It's got to start from inside you. It’s got to be something that is important to you…so important that it creates a shift and makes you realize that there is no Monday...just today. When you consume alcohol it suppresses testosterone levels and throws your body off balance for several days before it can once again reach homeostasis. Eating well, being healthy, feeling great, and looking great all go hand-in-hand. They're synonymous with creating and maintaining a healthy lifestyle as a way of life. That’s it. No smoke and mirrors, just see what you want, make the choice, and stick with it. My role is not to judge, but to help those of you who really want to make a change. The key to your success is one thing; you've got to want to do it. When you're ready to make this shift toward a healthier diet, be prepared for a more energetic, stronger, confident, fulfilled, and happier you. I’m here for you, so let’s get started with some of my keys to achieving an optimum healthy diet.
